    Jessica Parrish, Ph.D.
    Training Director

    Biography

I have experience treating anxiety, phobias, selective mutism, OCD, school refusal, depression, ADHD, parent-child conflict, and behavioral issues. I utilize a primarily cognitive behavioral approach to therapy and integrate family systems and mindfulness-based approaches as well. I enjoy creatively tailoring treatment to engage children of all ages. I provide parent training and help parents learn how to best support their children and respond to their distress.

I spent the last several years of my career working as a pediatric psychologist integrated into endocrinology teams. I have specialized experience in working with children, teens, and their families living with type 1 diabetes and I understand the unique challenges that arise. I also have experience and training in providing affirmative clinical care to transgender youth.
