Kenneth (Ken) Kim is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor who is looking to utilize his experience and skills that he honed as a school counselor for 11 years.

While working with adolescents, he saw that mental health impacts everyone and is a critical component in living a productive and satisfying life.

He has earned a Master’s of Education in Counseling and Development (2012), and most recently, a Post-Master’s Certificate in Clinical Mental Health (2019) from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. He also earned a Master’s of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University (2017).

Ken knows that getting counseling is often a brave step forward, so he aims to ease and calm any anxieties coming in. He desires to treat each individual with respect and dignity since it takes strength to seek help. He views everyone as a unique person and allies with them to get “unstuck” with the problems of anxiety, depression, loneliness or restlessness. He uses various techniques to help the clients understand their issues by reviewing the past, seeing how it impacts them in the present to create a healthier and happier future.

Kenneth is currently in-network with Aetna and Carefirst.
