    Biography

    I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Frostburg State University and my Masters of Science in Community Counseling from Shippensburg University. I hold a professional license (LCPC) in Maryland along with a certification for residential child care administration in Maryland. I have nearly fifteen years of experience working directly with children and families with a wide range of mental health, behavioral, school, and placement issues and special needs. I have utilized various approaches to assist young individuals successfully work through challenges such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, neglect, identity issues, substance use, and delinquent behaviors.

    My experiences have allowed me to work directly with schools, state agencies, hospitals, and outpatient providers. I have enjoyed working with the foster care, child welfare, and juvenile justice systems to serve the changing needs of youth throughout Maryland. I also have years of experience in the administration of a residential child care services, managing staff, marketing, and working directly with fundraising and community programs. These experiences have helped me grow personally and professionally. I am passionate about helping others reach their maximum potential and providing the best quality services to those in need. I aim to support families, schools, and fellow colleagues to accomplish these goals and allow our practice to grow successfully.
