Summary: Several advanced externship positions are available in Child Clinical Psychology for the 2023-2024 training year at Orchard Mental Health (QOP).
QOP is a large private practice in Rockville, MD that provides affordable, accessible, research informed counseling and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults.
The externship includes therapy and optional assessment experiences. Opportunities for co-leading groups may be available. Externs will be exposed to many different aspects of working in a successful private practice. One hour of individual supervision and one hour of group supervision will be provided each week. Externs are invited to a weekly OCD consultation group, weekly assessment group supervision, a monthly anti-racism group, and a variety of workshops and continuing education events at the practice. Opportunities for paid psychology associate positions will be available after the first year of externship.
