    Senior Psychotherapist

    Biography

I believe every individual is unique and possesses the strength and wisdom to overcome challenges or heal from difficult situations. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful, compassionate and non-judgmental place in which to collaboratively explore obstacles and identify solutions that will help you start the healing process and bring about a sense of peace.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and work primarily with adults, couples, families and groups. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to determine if I may have the privilege of walking alongside you on your journey towards well-being. I received my M.S. in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. My experiences in outpatient clinics, residential substance abuse facilities, and providing pro bono services in the community (hospice, churches) have given me diverse experiences in addressing a wide variety of life transitions, relationship issues, mental health concerns and addiction issues.

My specialties include anxiety, depression, addiction, grief/loss, life transitions, relationship issues, spirituality and stress management. I understand the disease of addiction and how it can impact the individual, family and friends. I have experience working with individuals to develop relapse prevention plans and engage with local recovery resources.
