Biography
I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and my B.S. in Biopsychology from Messiah University. I have experience providing school and community based therapeutic services to children and adolescents, helping them navigate issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, academics, peer conflict, relationships, and self-esteem.
My goal is to provide a safe, trusted, and nonjudgmental place where we can work collaboratively towards achieving your goals. My therapeutic approach is goal oriented with an emphasis on strengths, compassion, empathy and unconditional positive regard. I count it as an honor to be in the position of a helper, and I am committed to helping you create positive changes.
